Veterinarian

Dr. Carolynn Hamm

Dr. Carolynn Hamm grew up in the Fox Valley, where she got her first job at a veterinary clinic and fell in love with veterinary medicine.  She started in the kennels and worked her way up through every job in the clinic.

Dr. Hamm attended Winona State University in Minnesota where she got her undergraduate degree in Biology and Biochemistry in 2011.  While pursuing her bachelors degree she worked at a local veterinary clinic, volunteered at the Winona Area Humane Society, and had various veterinary internships.  Dr. Carolynn then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  During veterinary school she worked in the clinical pathology laboratory at the teaching hospital and volunteered with the Pet Pals program which facilitated animal visits to pediatric patients at the children’s hospital.

Dr. Hamm has been working in the Lake Country area for the last 8 years and has developed an interest in dentistry, along with preventative and internal medicine.  She enjoys building lasting relationships with her clients and being a advocate for those who can’t advocate for themselves.

When not working, Dr. Hamm and her husband spend time boating on one of the many lakes in the Lake Country area, travel hacking around the world, and working on a never ending list of house projects. Dr. Hamm currently has a rescue dog named Chowder, whom she adores.
